The westbound ramp to the Morrison Bridge from I-84 and I-5 southbound will close this weekend for an ongoing paint project on the bridge. The closure begins at 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 30 and reopens on Sunday, May 1 by 4 p.m. Drivers will need to use alternative routes. There will be the same closure sometime in May. Multnomah County maintains the Morrison Bridge and five other Willamette River bridges.
In addition to the Morrison Bridge ramp closure this weekend, the project contractor will also close an eastbound lane on the bridge, weather permitting. Traffic will be reduced to one lane eastbound on the bridge from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Drivers prepare for potential delays. Multnomah County maintains the Morrison Bridge and five other Willamette River bridges.
