11 Area Post Offices to Host Hiring Events

Over 100 Northwest USPS Hosting Job Fairs 
The U.S. Postal Service will conduct an unprecedented three-day hiring “Mega Blitz” for 2,000 mail carriers, mail handlers and clerks at 111 postal facilities across Oregon, Washington and Idaho from Sept. 27 to Oct. 1.

Among the postal facilities that will host job fairs are 11 in Portland and southern Washington, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 29.

4. Kenton (OR)
5. Longview (WA)
6. Multnomah (OR)Oak Grove (OR)
7. Parkrose (OR)
8. Portland Processing & Distribution Center - District Office (OR) 
9. Sellwood (OR) 
10. Vancouver (WA)

In addition, the Portland Processing & Distribution Center will host a job fair for mail handler applicants from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct 1.

The available postal positions, which offer starting pay from $18.92 to $21.19 an hour. USPS personnel will be onsite at all job fairs to answer questions, assist potential applicants and provide detailed information about available positions.
