Services for Spring Yvonne Sims are Thursday, June 4, at 11 a.m., at Vancouver Avenue First Baptist Church.
Born March 29, 1953 to Ora Lee Martin and Frank Sims in Portland, Spring attended Woodlawn Elementary school and Adams High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Henry Lee Martin; a sister Sherry Sims-Glass; a great-niece Cody Lynn Hatfield; and the love of her life Thomas Perry Martin and his son Sean Martin.
She is survived by her children Kyna (Royal) Harris, Calla (Herman II) Jones, Manuella Martin all of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren La'Darius Jr., Nay'Chelle, Airriana, Sean, Langston, Aleksis, Aliyah, Kavina, and Kiara; her siblings Syble Corey of Portland; Susie (Henry) Martin of Flint Mich., and Brian (Patricia) Sims of Eugene; Audrey Sims and nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.
